Questions, answered clearly.
The things people most often ask us before they move. Search, or browse by topic.
Which countries can you help me move to?
We help clients move to the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Canada, the UAE and wider Gulf region. Our advisers are qualified solicitors based in London, with clients all over the world.
If you are not sure which country is right for you, our route finder and first consultation are designed to help you compare.
Do you work with individuals, or only with companies?
Both. We support individuals and families moving for work, family or a new way of life, investors looking for residency or a second citizenship, and companies relocating or hiring international employees.
What happens in the first consultation?
We listen to your plans and circumstances, explain the routes that could work for you in plain terms, and outline the likely steps, timelines and costs. You will leave with a clear picture of your options, whether or not you go ahead with us.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the country, the route and government processing times, which change throughout the year. Some applications take a few weeks, while others take several months.
We give you a realistic timeline at the start and keep you updated at every stage, so you can plan your move with confidence.
How much will it cost?
Costs have two parts: our professional fees, and the government and third-party fees for your application. After your consultation we give you a clear written quote, so you know the full cost before you commit.
Can you guarantee my application will be approved?
No one can honestly guarantee an approval, because decisions are made by government authorities. What we can promise is careful preparation: we check your eligibility thoroughly, prepare a complete and well-evidenced application, and tell you openly if we see any risks.
What documents will I need?
Most applications start with a valid passport and evidence of your circumstances, such as employment, finances, relationships or qualifications. The exact list depends on your route, so we give you a personalised checklist and review every document before it is submitted.
Can my family come with me?
Many routes allow a partner and dependent children to join you, and some investment routes can include parents too. We plan your family's applications alongside yours, so everyone can move together.
Do I need to visit your office?
No. You are welcome to meet us at our London office on Regent Street, but most clients work with us remotely through video calls, phone and email, wherever they are in the world.
What is residency or citizenship by investment?
Some countries offer residence, or in certain cases citizenship, to people who make a qualifying investment, for example in property, a business or government-approved funds. Each programme has its own requirements, timelines and due diligence checks.
We help you compare programmes based on your goals, such as travel freedom, a family base, education or business, and manage the application with complete discretion.
Is my personal and financial information kept confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is central to how we work. Your information is used only to prepare your case, shared only with the authorities and partners your application requires, and handled securely at every stage.
How do you support companies moving or hiring employees?
We help employers transfer existing staff, sponsor international hires and set up in new countries. That includes checking eligibility, preparing applications, supporting employees' families and helping you stay compliant as your team grows.
Can you handle several employees at once?
Yes. For group relocations we create one coordinated plan, with a single point of contact for your HR team and clear progress updates for each employee.
